In Cult of the Lamb, a thriving cult is built on the backs of its devoted followers. While you'll naturally recruit some through the main questline, accelerating your follower count is game-changing for faster resource gathering, increased Faith generation, and a more powerful presence. Here are the most efficient ways to bolster your flock.

1. Rescue Missions During Crusades:

• This is your primary and most consistent method. Throughout your crusades in Darkwood, Anura, Silk Cradle, and Glaive, you will frequently encounter trapped potential followers.
• Always prioritize freeing these individuals. They are often found in cages or being attacked by enemies. The sooner you rescue them, the sooner they can join your cult.
• Some of these rescues might be tied to specific mini-boss encounters or challenging rooms, so be prepared for a fight.

2. The "Enlist Follower" Sermon:

• Once you have earned the ability to perform Sermons, research and get the "Enlist Follower" doctrine.
• This doctrine allows you to perform a special sermon that directly converts a portion of your gathered Faith into new followers. The more Faith you have, the more followers you can potentially gain from a single sermon.
• This is an excellent way to quickly boost your numbers, especially after a successful crusade where you've accumulated a large amount of Faith.

3. Random Encounters and Events:

• Beyond the standard crusade path, keep an eye out for random events that can lead to new followers. These might include rescuing a lost soul, helping a stranded individual, or even encountering a wandering merchant who offers a follower in exchange for goods.
• These events are less predictable but can provide a significant boost when they occur.

4. The "Sacrifice" Doctrine (with caution):

• While not directly "recruiting," the "Sacrifice" doctrine can indirectly lead to new followers. When you sacrifice a follower, you gain Faith and Devotion. This increased Faith can then be used to perform the "Enlist Follower" sermon, thus gaining new followers to replace the one you lost.
