The arsenal available in DayZ is enormous, ranging from primitive melee weapons to high-powered assault rifles. Understanding the different types of firearms, their ammunition, and their effective ranges is game-changing for survival, no matter if you're hunting zombies or engaging other players.

Weapons in DayZ can be broadly categorized into several types:

1. Melee Weapons: These include knives, axes, crowbars, and baseball bats. They are essential for silent takedowns, close-quarters combat, and utility tasks like skinning animals.
