Walkthrough
  1. 1
From the start near the ship, move south to find a platform. Roll across the gap to find your first Chest (1/2). This is a 'Fancy' Chest and may secure the 'Fancy That!' Trophy/Achievement if it's your first.
  2. 2
Continue forward and kill the first Zombie with your Sword.
  3. 3
Clear out more Zombies ahead, then use your Bow and Arrows to kill the Skeleton on the stone bridge to proceed.
  4. 4
Cross another bridge, fighting Zombies and Skeletons. On the other side, near a house and windmill, kill the Vindicators.
  5. 5
You'll pass a 'Supplies' Chest (this doesn't count towards the total). Backtrack south between the chest and a hanging lantern.
  6. 6
Go east of a wooden blockade, behind a fence and through trees to reach the house again. A Chest will appear; this is Secret 1/2.
  7. 7
Return to the Supplies Chest area and move forward to a staircase.
  8. 8
At the bottom, go west of a fence near a house. Move close to the wall to get behind the fence, and another Chest will appear; this is Secret 2/2.
  9. 9
Continue forward to a courtyard with a Villager statue. A purple gate and the Arch-Illager will appear, summoning an Ambush of about four Vindicators. Kill them to open the gate.
  10. 10
Climb a staircase and fight more Vindicators. One may drop a Fireworks Arrow Artifact. Equip it to give your Arrows an explosive effect (it has a cooldown).
  11. 11
Move forward and interact with a Lever to open a door.
  12. 12
Through the gate, shoot the Skeleton on the other side of a drawbridge to lower it. Use your Fireworks Arrow if you wish.
  13. 13
Cross the drawbridge, kill the Skeleton and Zombie.
  14. 14
Just past the drawbridge, roll across another gap to reach your second Chest (2/2). Be aware that items can fall into the abyss.
  15. 15
Follow the path, kill the last Zombie and Vindicator.
  16. 16
Follow your Quest Marker to the Camp and interact with the stone table to finish the level and set up your Camp. You'll earn the 'Happy Camper' Trophy/Achievement.
Tips
  • Always be on the lookout for gaps that can be rolled across to access secret areas.
  • The 'Supplies' Chest does not count towards your total Chests and Secrets for the level.
  • The Fireworks Arrow Artifact has a cooldown, so it cannot be used for every shot.
  • Items dropped from the second chest near the gap can be difficult to pick up if they fall into the abyss. Try spamming the 'Pick Up' button.
  • This level is the only one that remains the same for all players, making it ideal for learning game mechanics.

'Fancy That!' Trophy/Achievement (for opening a Fancy Chest), 'Happy Camper' Trophy/Achievement (for completing the level).

Creeper Woods & Creepy Crypt

Master Minecraft Legends' Creeper Woods and unlock the secret Creepy Crypt. Learn about secrets, chests, gear drops, and strategies for this challenging early-game area.

Due to the procedurally-generated nature of Minecraft Legends, exact locations for Secrets and Chests can vary with each playthrough. The number of Secrets and Chests per level also changes each time you play. This guide details what to look for and how to interact with it.

Creeper Woods Overview

Creeper Woods is the first level after the Tutorial. Gear Drops include Swords, Axes, Bows, Hunter's Armor, Wolf Armor, Boots of Swiftness, Death Cap Mushroom, and Tasty Bone.

Creeper Woods Secrets and Chests

Vases can be smashed for Emeralds, often found near Villagers. Secrets are frequently hidden Chests that appear when you get close, so explore every path. Supplies Chests and Vases can be found inside buildings, but do not count as Secrets or Chests. Loot Pigs (Chest Pigs) also do not count as Secrets or Chests. Thorough exploration and backtracking are key to finding all items.

Unlocking Creepy Crypt

Access Creepy Crypt by finding the 'Creepy Crypt Map' within Creeper Woods. Look for a semi-hidden path to the west (left) on your map. This path leads to an area with many enemies, especially Skeletons, and Vases. Interact with a glowing red stone button to open a wall, revealing a pedestal with the 'Map'. Collecting the map triggers an Ambush; defeat the enemies to access deeper areas with more loot.

Creepy Crypt (Secret Level) Overview

Creepy Crypt is one of six Secret Levels, tied to a main level and unlocked via it. Once unlocked, it can be selected from the 'Mission Select' Map without needing to unlock it again. Gear Drops include Swords, Pickaxes, Bows, Hunter's Armor, Boots of Swiftness, Fishing Pole, and Tasty Bone.

Creepy Crypt Secrets and Chests

This is the largest level, with numerous Chests and Secrets. Chests are found scattered throughout, and some appear when you get close. Ambush rooms spawn a Chest upon clearing all enemies. Large tombs set into the floor can be interacted with to reveal a hidden Chest (a Secret). Other Secrets involve interacting with non-enemy skeletons in alcoves to trigger an Ambush, with a Secret Chest as a reward. Redstone puzzles open various rooms. After leaving the Crypt, you return to Creeper Woods to find any remaining Secrets and Chests.

Soggy Swamp & Soggy Cave

Master Minecraft Legends' Soggy Swamp and Soggy Cave levels. Learn about gear drops, finding secrets, fighting Endermen and the Cauldron boss, and unlocking the secret Soggy Cave.

Soggy Swamp is one of the ten main levels in Minecraft Legends, and it also contains a Secret Level called Soggy Cave. Gear drops in Soggy Swamp include Glaives, Daggers, Hunting Bow, Crossbow, Evocation Robe, Harvester, Fishing Rod, Soul Healer, and Totem of Regeneration.

Vases can be smashed for Emeralds but do not count as Secrets or Chests. Typically, Soggy Swamp has no Secrets other than the potential to find the entrance to Soggy Cave. If your Map shows "0/0 Secrets," Soggy Cave will not be present in that playthrough. Loot Pigs (Chest Pigs) also do not count as Chests or Secrets. Chests are easily found using the Map; a Chest Icon will appear for any unopened chests in areas you have visited.

Fighting Endermen (Mini-Boss): Endermen are mini-bosses with high Health. Their presence is indicated by an HP bar at the top of the screen and screen static. Health items like the regenerating red Health Potion (PS: [L1]) and Soul Healer are recommended. Artifacts like the Harvester or Death Cap Mushroom can boost attack. Due to their speed and teleportation, it's advisable to corner yourself to limit attack angles. Fighting with friends can make this encounter easier.

Fighting the Cauldron (Boss): The level boss is a giant Cauldron that spawns enemies and surrounds itself with purple fire. Patience is key. TNT can be used, and charging Arrows before firing increases damage. The Harvester Artifact is useful. Avoid spawned enemies and purple Slimes while moving.

Unlocking Soggy Cave: To access Soggy Cave, you must find the 'Soggy Cave Map' within Soggy Swamp. This map is not guaranteed in every playthrough and counts as a Secret. If your Map shows '0/0 Secrets,' you cannot find Soggy Cave. When a Secret is available, the map is found by walking through an obvious doorway to a small area with a pedestal. Finding the map can require many attempts; some players report reloading the level over 40 times. Grinding the level online with friends can help you get stronger while waiting for the Secret Level to spawn.

Soggy Cave (Secret Level) Overview: Soggy Cave is one of six Secret Levels, tied to a main level and unlocked via it. Once unlocked, it can be selected from the Mission Select Map and does not need to be unlocked again. Gear drops in Soggy Cave include Daggers, Cutlass, Hunting Bow, Evocation Robe, Fishing Rod, Soul Healer, and Totem of Regeneration.

Soggy Cave Secrets and Chests: Soggy Cave is a maze where finding all Secrets is required to progress. Expect several Ambushes. The level is short and simple; focus on defeating Witches before they can poison you.
