Enter the pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Descend through 25 levels, battling monsters created by the Dreaming God.

Utilize conversations with dead individuals via a yellow crystal to gain puzzle hints, monster strategies, and story details.

Manage scarce resources: ammo is rare, health is regained by resting (risky) or rare blue potions (also cure poison).

Your starting equipment is limited to a Walther P4 handgun and survival knife for the first half of the game.

Collect items to gain points, which increase health. Items include weapons, crystals (with limited uses, except the yellow one), potions, miscellaneous puzzle/utility items, and treasure for score/health.

The ultimate goal is to reach the bottom level and detonate a nuclear device to stun the Dreaming God and bury it.
