Craft weapons and defenses in Stranded Deep. Learn to make Crude Spears, Refined Spears, and the Spear Gun for survival against island threats.

Defense is do-or-die against the many dangers of Stranded Deep. Your first weapon will likely be a Crude Spear (1 Stick, 1 Stone Tool, 1 Rope). Upgrade to a Refined Spear (1 Stick, 1 Refined Blade, 1 Lashing) for significantly more damage. The Spear Gun (2 Scrap Metal, 1 Plastic, 1 Lashing) is excellent for underwater combat, requiring Spear Gun Ammo (crafted from Scrap Metal). For ranged combat on land, the Bow (3 Sticks, 1 Lashing) with Refined Arrows (1 Stick, 1 Refined Blade, 1 Feather) is effective. While there's no traditional armor, a Leather Shield (2 Leather, 1 Wood Stick, 1 Lashing) can provide some protection against land creatures. Always be prepared for combat, especially when exploring new areas or diving shipwrecks.
