Hey there! Enter Aball, your first real taste of exploration in Tales of Berseria Remastered. It might seem a little confusing at first, but don't worry, I'll walk you through it. We've got a couple of treasures to snag and some story bits to uncover.
- 1Right after the opening cutscene, turn around and chat with Laphicet. You'll need to talk to him twice. After that, give the house a good look-over, especially the kitchen and attic, for any shining spots. These are random gathering points that can give you common items like ingredients or salvage, but sometimes you'll get lucky and find something rare!
- 2Once you're done in the house, head outside. You'll get a quick tutorial on how to use the mini-map, the area map, and your objective list. Pay attention, it'll help you navigate later. Now, check out the gravestones nearby. They give you some backstory on Velvet and Arthur, and what happened to Celica.
- 3Make your way north to the center of town. Here, you can activate the skit called Dinner Plans. Skits are great for getting more character insights and world-building, so don't skip them!

- 9Finally, exit town to the east to reach the Tranquil Woods.
