  10. 10
To skip a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) that runs immediately after throwing a switch, stand in front of the switch, press Action, then while the switch-throwing animation is running, hold Look.
Tips
  • The game can be completed and all Trophies earned using traditional "Tank" controls or preferred controls.
  • Holding the Weapons button during a pickup animation also works with other command buttons, like pressing a switch button while holding "Roll" to cause Lara to Roll immediately after.
  • Photo Mode can be very useful; try it early on to get a feel for it.
  • When navigating, follow instructions like "Follow the path to the right" (no other choice), "Turn right" (option to go straight, but branch right), "Rotate right" (stand in place, 90º clockwise), "Rotate slightly right" (less than 90º clockwise), and "Take a hard right" (go through an opening and immediately turn right).

Level 00--Times Exclusive

Complete walkthrough for Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation's Level 00 - Times Exclusive. Find 2 secrets, 20 items, and earn 2 trophies in this introductory level.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
After sliding down ramps, turn around and go through the NW opening. Turn around again and pull up onto the elevated ledge behind you. Crawl forward, pulling up 4 times.
  2. 2
Rotate right and enter the alcove. This is Secret #1, containing the shotgun with 6 rounds of normal ammo and 6 rounds of wideshot shotgun shells.
  3. 3
Back out of the alcove, descend the 4 steps, rotate right, and run off the edge onto a ramp that returns you to the starting point.
  4. 4
Go forward (S) through the opening between statues and follow the path right. As you enter the next room, 2 red scorpions will appear on each side. Keep your distance as they can poison you. Moving forward releases 2 more red scorpions. It's recommended to move to the right for an unobstructed line of fire.
  5. 5
Continue forward (W) into the next room. Drop into the pit to collect a small medipack and flares. Pull out on the west side of the pit.
  6. 6
Head down the stairs into the next room. Immediately veer left or right to avoid a rolling spiked ball.
  7. 7
Return to the previous room, make a hard left through the doorway, and stand on the ramp. Pull up to retrieve Uzi clips. Turn around and make a running jump/grab to the opposite ledge for blue shotgun shells.
  8. 8
Safety drop to the ground, return to the room with the spiked ball, and proceed into the room to the right (N).
  9. 9
Go up the stairs past jackal statues and pull up onto the ledge to the right (E). Drop into the pit on the far side to collect a large medipack and more blue shotgun shells. Shoot the lion head bust on the wall to shatter it.
  10. 10
Explore the area behind the pit along the west wall for a small medipack and normal crossbow arrows. Shoot the lion head on this side as well.
  11. 11
At the north end of the room is a large statue. Shooting the lion heads opened a trapdoor on the west side of the statue.
  12. 12
Drop through the opening, follow the path, pull up, climb a ladder, and go right into a room with Secret #2, containing the crossbow and 10 poison arrows. Finding both secrets awards the Codex of Tutankhamun Trophy.
  13. 13
Back out of the Secret area. To your left (E) is a moveable golden urn. Stand behind it (N) and Save. Pull the urn north until it is on the painting on the floor.
Tips
  • The Remastered collection allows increasing screen brightness. Go to Options > Graphics > Brightness and set it to about +5 for better visibility.
  • There are 2 types of shotgun shells: red (normal) and blue (wideshot). Blue shells are theoretically more effective against multiple enemies, but the difference may not be noticeable.
  • The crossbow has 3 arrow types: normal, poison, and exploding.
  • When selecting the shotgun or crossbow, you must also select the ammo type.
  • This level has 2 secrets, 20 items, and 14 possible kills (though only 14 can be achieved with available weapons). You will earn 2 Trophies.
  • Items and secrets found here do not carry over to the main game and do not count towards the 'Bury It With Me' Trophy.
  • This level is a standalone, easy warm-up.
