Prologue: After introductory scenes, you'll fight Affinities. Defeat them, run after Enzo, and double jump over the edge for more Affinities. The objective is to execute three torture attacks within a time limit to end the Prologue.

Chapter 1: The Angel's Metropolis:
1. After a scene, destroy all benches in the area, including on the second level, before heading through the gates.

Jump back down to the train tracks to find your first [BROKEN MOON PEARL]. This increases magic meter and is not available on Very Easy/Easy. You can also ride the train for 10,000 halos.

Proceed through the gates and break the strange wall/door.

Drop into the gap before jumping across to find an Umbra Chest containing a key.

Climb back up and defeat the Affinities using the key as a weapon.

Jump over the gap and secure the door. Collect the first Antonio's Document and examine the broken statue.

Defeat the spawning Affinities to repair the statue. Activate it by pressing X near it.

Dodge lightning to run across the water in witch time and break the wall at the end, which turns into a platform.

Return to where you found the key and find an Alfheim Portal. The trial requires defeating all enemies in witch time (Affinities, Affinities with Applaud, two Applauds). Completing this awards your second [BROKEN MOON PEARL].

Ride the lift up. You can break most objects for halos.

Proceed down the hall to the Gates of Hell (shop). Consider buying healing items, a Witch Heart, or a Moon Pearl (30,000 Halos each).

Go down the stairs. Before proceeding, look upwards to find a balcony with your first [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Collecting four increases Vitality.

Jump back down and continue down the hall. Collect the second Antonio's Document.

Explore the right side of the central garden for an Umbra Chest containing your second [BROKEN WITCH HEART].

Exit the area via the main path and you will encounter an Applaud. Defeat it.

Next, fight the Beloved. Its attacks include horizontal axe swings or overhead slams.

Tips

Directions are based on the camera being behind Bayonetta.
Destroying objects can yield halos.
Broken Moon Pearls increase the magic meter; Broken Witch Hearts increase Vitality.
