- 1Receive a Pokémon Egg from Riley after completing Iron Island.
- 2Keep the Egg in your party and walk around to hatch it into a Riolu.
- 3To obtain more Riolu after hatching your first, evolve your Riolu into Lucario and then breed it. Riolu cannot be bred directly as it is a baby Pokémon.
How to Get Lucario:
- Once you have a Riolu, it will evolve into Lucario when it gains a level during the Day and its Friendship value is 160 or over.
- The hatched Riolu starts with 100 Friendship.
Tips for Increasing Friendship
- Have Riolu hold a Soothe Bell (obtained from the Pokémon Mansion on Route 212).
- Feed Riolu Grepa, Hondew, Kelpsy, Pomeg, Qualot, or Tamato Berries.
- Level up Riolu in battle.
- Feed Riolu vitamin items (e.g., Calcium) or Rare Candy.
