The Metamorph is a terror-inducing shapeshifter that excels in close-quarters combat, utilizing a dizzying array of natural weapons. They bond with an interstellar virus, allowing them to remake their forms at will. Metamorphs are Medium-sized, have a d10 Hit Die, and start with 300g.
Walkthrough
- 1Class Skills: Acrobatics, Bluff, Climb, Disguise, Fly, Handle Animal, Intimidate, Knowledge (nature), Perception, Ride, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, Survival, and Swim. Skill Ranks Per Level: 4 + Int.
- 2Metamorph Progression: A table detailing base attack bonus, saves, and special abilities gained at each level from 1 to 20.
- 3Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Proficient with all natural attacks, but not with armor.
- 4Morphic Pool: An innate pool of bioenergy equal to class levels + Constitution modifier. Refills by consuming biomass. Spending points is a free action.
- 5Biophage: Can consume biomass from helpless or recently deceased creatures to regain 1 point to the morphic pool per round of consumption. Does not work on creatures smaller than Tiny and is not an evil act.
- 6Unstable Stability: Gains a +4 bonus on saves vs. polymorph spells.
- 7Rapid Mutation: Can mutate body into weapons by expending morphic pool. Mutations last 10 minutes. Can safely mutate 1 morphic pool per round, or 2 with a swift action to brace. Excess morphic pool causes 1 Con damage. Maximum natural attacks increase with level.
- 81-Point Mutations: Includes a Bite attack dealing 1d6 damage (or more for larger sizes).
