Prologue/Awakening 1
Complete the Dragon Quest Builders 2 Prologue/Awakening 1 by fixing rooms, cooking food, and building beds. Learn how to craft your first weapon.
Walkthrough:
- After character creation and settings setup, you awaken in a cell. Dialogue choices are mostly irrelevant; choose to say you are a builder.
- Leave the cell, head up the stairs, eat what is given, and speak to the skeleton again to accept a quest.
- Speak to the five monsters with marks above their heads.
- Return to the skeleton and speak to him again to complete the mission.
- Accept the next mission: punch two piles of driftwood five times each. Return to the skeleton.
- Help the other monsters:
- First Guy: Craft five torches using the crafting table and place them on the black blocks on the deck (one near you, four around the initial stairs). Speak to Mr. Maces again.
- Second Guy: Go to the far left of the ship's back. Speak to the armored skeleton with a mark. He asks you to punch his friend. Hit the target monster until he falls (you will do 0/1 damage initially). Return to the quest giver, witness a scene, craft and equip a cypress stick (the most basic Dragon Quest weapon), then return to fight the skeleton again. Speak to the quest giver to complete this part.
- Third Guy: Speak to the mage next to the crafting table. He will give you the Gloves, a tool that allows you to pick up and place items in their current condition. Use the Gloves to collect all six barrels on deck (not on straw blocks) and place them on the straw blocks, not stacked. Speak to the mage again.
- Return to Captain Whitebones and speak to him to complete the mission.
- After the scene, return to your cell and go through the door on the right. Speak to Whitebones again.
- Patch the holes in the room using crates: the first needs one crate, the second needs two total (one in each spot), and the third needs three total (one in each spot). Speak to him again.
- After the intro movie, you find yourself on a deserted island. Use your cypress stick to farm materials. Head to the chest for kelp.
- Jump up to the marked sand section, break it with the stick or move blocks with the Gloves, and enter to find a voice.
- Isle of Awakening part 1:
- Speak to the person with a mark on the rocky outcropping. Follow him.
- Speak to the person still alive and the three corpses (two townspeople, one slime). A wave will wash them away.
- Speak to Lulu, the panicked girl. She gives the mission
